All of my compositions over the years:

"Opus #1"
The drum pitches are G(23’), C(25’), D(28’), and G(32’). This particular piece was performed on April 5th, 2012 at 1:40 p.m. The performance was held at Delta State University in Cleveland, MS on the recital hall stage of the Bologna Performing Arts Center during the spring semester of my ,2nd or, sophomore year of college. Also, it was performed to the audience as a world premier by the composer with an approximate timing of 2:35-3:10 minutes. The composer uses written in-sticking, dynamic contrasting, musical markings, the crossing technique ,at times, and three different striking techniques (legato, marcato, and staccato) to create this unique piece.

"The Midnight Hour of Love"
The story behind this piece is a musical illustration of a man looking out at the window on a stormy night 15 minutes before midnight. At midnight, he's expecting a knock at the door from a lady that is important to him in his life. The man gives you three descriptions of three ladies that is special to him. Each lady gives off a unique personality and character. However, each lady is different in their own way, language, beginning, and ending. For all his life, he always had two ladies that gave him unconditional love with their own musical songs. Now, the man has a chance to make his own song towards the third lady.

*{Not the official piano version of the all three movements}*

"The Land of Her"
Basically, this piece is a musical illustration of the composer's mind being amazed and focused on a particular young lady he met in college. Also, this was a musicianship project song with written in vocals.

"How I Would Say Goodbye to Mond(a)y"
The original main idea of this composition was a musical illustration of a formal goodbye to a special person in the composer's view. The catch is that the composer has never said goodbye to a person in his life with his "natural" voice before. So, the composer created this composition to illustrate all the characteristics and elements of this particular person through musical terminology within the whole piece as she prepares to leave in his life and pursue on to bigger and better things. In life, through the concept, is where it helped them to become connected with each other. However, the person that was suppose to leave came back. So, the composer decided to make changes to the original piece such as creating a written solo section to illustrate how things begin to "spin out of control' and also creating two alternating endings called "The Formal Goodbye" (consisting of the piece ending in the "I" chord), the "Missing Chord" )consisting of two different endings of either the five chord along with a poetic feature), or just the chord alone. Thus, this made the composition transform into a piece where it can be played as a willingly formal goodbye to that special person and/or a piece where you are preparing to give an answer to what may happen in a situation that you have no control over. So, within the piece, the composer will take you on a journey of how they met, how they connected, what factor(s) led to a misunderstanding, how they disconnected, and the composer's last verdict on what he or she is going to do as a person.
